Developing a broad and rich curriculum to inspire future generations: Richard Johnson @ St John's Marlborough
Mar 15 @ 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Ofsted has warned schools they face greater scrutiny over ‘substance’ of what they teach. In 2017, Chief Inspector of Schools, Amanda Spielman told schools not to overlook the importance of a balanced curriculum in their efforts to achieve high exam results.

Delegates who attend this course will:

  • explore the need to provide a bespoke, balanced, broad and rich curriculum, which meets the needs of all their pupils and helps their school succeed in its aims
  • discuss the implications of the increasing focus, in Ofsted inspections, on the curriculum and how to effectively articulate the design of their curriculum to all stakeholders
  • be provided with strategies and ideas on how to develop an outstanding curriculum in their school.
