Autistic spectrum conditions affect so many aspects of how a young person engages with school, their peers and teachers, and the process of learning. In this session we will explore what it means to have an autistic spectrum disorder and how high levels of anxiety cause huge barriers to progress and what we as individuals and whole schools can do about this.

This twilight session will further your knowledge of:

  • the range of autistic spectrum conditions and associated behaviours
  • Practical strategies to reduce anxiety and enable learning

You will also receive information resources to share with colleagues to maximise the impact of this training in your setting.
