Autistic spectrum conditions affect so many aspects of how a young person engages with school, their peers and teachers, and the process of learning.
In this session we will explore what it means to have an autistic spectrum disorder and how high levels of anxiety cause huge barriers to progress and what we as individuals and whole schools can do about this.
This session will give you practical strategies that you can use straight away and that you can share with your colleagues to make learning even better in your setting.
Who is this for?
For Primary & Secondary SENCos, teachers from all settings, ELSAs, HLTAs, teaching assistants and anyone supporting young people in an educational setting.
